City in Music
The main goal of City in Music is to transform the musical identity of Yerevan by filling its streets and public spaces with year-round daily live performances of classical, folk, jazz, and classic rock music, exposing people of all ages to the beauty of fine musical experience.
Every city’s image is a fusion of its appearance (through architecture, fashion, art), its scent (through air, green areas, cleanness, hygiene), and its sound (through music, conversations, noise).
The quality of each of these essential elements defines the quality of life in the city and the quality of its people.
City in Music will educate a new generation of music enthusiasts, support musicians, enliven everyday routine of the city’s inhabitants, and make Yerevan more attractive to its visitors.
